Who would like to receive a word of hope these days? It can change your perspective and lift your spirit or you can be the harbinger of one yourself for someone else’s benefit. That’s the message the artist attempted to capture in this mixed media piece. There is a calming sense to it and a reminder to look to The Best Source of Hope, God Almighty, the WORD made flesh that came to dwell among us.

With a quiet color palette, this one has a combination of small texture techniques: mesh, glass beads, paste, gel skin. It has ornate metal corners, metal stars, pen nibs, washers, wings, and a feather.Tiny nails and fibers enhance the edges. Paint, paper, markers, graphite.

Prose underlies the text as the subtle thoughts one has that prove to be foundational in life. Self talk.
