Each one of these nature songs, as I call these shadow box collages, began with a walk in the woods. Feeling the pieces of bark in my hand caused me to envision them with some hand stitching in them.
Therefore, the collage was created from the central bark piece outward. My love and respect for life in its various forms led me to create this one with a precious child’s image seated near an egg I found. Feathers, buttons, seed pods, and tiny roses in vases complete this simply beautiful shadowbox.
Shadow box measurements: 5.75″ x 7.75″ x 2″.
